Our regularly updated calendar offers you a quick look at upcoming events in Tucson. If you’re trying to find things to do, let Local Tucson Scene offer some ideas.
Every Monday evening
Join other Tucsonans in this social, non-competitive run/walk every Monday. Check-in is at Congress and starts at 5:15 p.m. After the walk/run, stay downtown for dinner and a drink. You can also enter the weekly drawing at 7 p.m. on the Maynards patio for a chance to win gift certificates and other prizes. Maynards and a number of other downtown restaurants offer Monday night specials. Check the event website for a complete listing.
Every Wednesday evening
Join with other members of the Tucson community for a free weekly run/walk. If you prefer a more organized group exercise, you can choose one of the offered exercise classes. Tai chi, pilates, and boot camp are offered in the courtyard. Check the website for the rotating class schedule.
Every Sunday morning
Tucsonans turn out every Sunday morning to St. Philips Plaza to stroll in the courtyards, browse through vendors selling fresh produce, exotic teas, and fresh-baked pastries. Wander through to find the vegetables for Sunday dinner, to pick up a morning pastry and coffee, or a crepe for breakfast from food truck Planet of the Crepes.
Wednesdays and Fridays, 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
Head downtown for a tasting and tour of Tucson’s newest brewery, located in the Tucson Warehouse Arts District.
